Ar an leathanach seo
- Travelling people very often call to my home. Some have been coming for the past few years but others are new people who have come into my district. Some are very poor but others are not so poor.
Some sell small articles such as cups, saucers, and holy pictures and other small articles. People buy from them if they get them at at reasonable price. They get their supplies from the shopkeepers, and then they sell them at at profit.
These people are not very welcome. When they come they stay for a week or a fortnight. They sleep by the roadside on hay. They have a small quantity of food with them which they get from the people. They accept from the people food, money, and clothes.
Some travel on horses and carts but the gypsies travel in carvans.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
