Ar an leathanach seo

  1. This treasure is supposed to be hidden in
    Mr Thos Horgan's land of Glounamuckla,
    Parish of Clonfert, Barony of Duhallow. Co. Cork
    This field is situated near the river flowing
    through the farm, and is called at the present
    time "Inch McCoy." This was supposed to be the
    name of the man who hid the Treasure.
    It is supposed to be hidden by a man, named
    McCoy, who was an outlaw, being pursued, it is
    believed, he hid it there.
    James Pigott of Glounamuckla, an old man
    who died about eighteen years ago, dreamt of
    this treasure several times, it is said, he often
    searched for it, but in vain.
    On one occasion it is related that he communicate
    his knowledge, to a neighbouring farmer named
    Timothy OConnell, who accompanied him in the
    search, but in vain, the treasure was not
    discovered
