    In the is a gap which is called Gleann na mna. The old people say they heard from their parents that it is so called because a certain woman in the long ago tried to jump from one side of the gap to the other. It is said she failed to do so ; and in proof of her failure , and of the truth of the tale, they point to the marks which resemble foot prints which can be seen today in the gap called Gleann na mna.
