mountain called "Sliabh Mis". When this mountain is covered with fog we will get rain, and when there is snow seen on this mountain we will also get some of that snow. To the west of my house there is a glen, and when a storm is coming the wind can be heard rushing and moaning through this glen.
When the bad weather is coming the plover huddle together on the slopes of the mountains and they become more tame. The crows fly very low and they are very restless. When the bad weather is coming the dog begins to eat the grass. When we are going to get fine weather the water in the river gets brighter and the fish can be seen in the bottom of the holes. When the weather is going to be bad you could see the pismires flying every where in the Summer. When the smoke ascends calmly in the morning it is a sign of fine weather. If the soot begins to fall it is a sign of rain.
