    The Bridge Meadow. There is a bridge on the public road here.
    The Leaca, The ground here is steep, it being the brow or slope of the hillock.
    The Black Hill. The nature of the soil is boggy and this probably accounts for the name.
    The Kiln Field. A lime-kiln is situated here.
    The Lime Réidh. This portion of the Réidh was treated with lime at one time.
    The Roggy.
    The Fionnán Meadow. This meadow is reclaimed land and the grass is that long white kind is found in marshy places.

    The Gleann na Móna. In this portion of the holding turf (peat) is obtained.
    Páirc an Aitinn. As the name here also suggests this field was at one time covered with furze but they have been burnt out almost now.
    Other fields in the same farm are:-
    The Stony Field, The Glen Field, The Long Meadow, The Kiln Field, The Well Field, The Black Meadow - all the names of which indicate a particular fact relating to the field
    (see p 26 for fields belonging to Jeremiah Angland).
