Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There are five roads passing through Millstreet to different parts of the country namely the Killarney Road, The Macroom Road, The Tullig Road, The Drishane Road, The Clara Road.
    The Killarney Road is a second class road which passes through Millstreet and continues west into Kerry.
    The Macroom Rd. runs in a south-eastward direction to the town of Macroom - another second class road.
    The Tullig Road runs E to the townland of Tullig,
    It is one of the oldest roads in the district and dates from the Penal Days, or perhaps before that time. It was used by the Kerry farmers who rode to Cork on horse-back and took a firkin of butter on the horse before them. The journey took two days both ways.
