    There was once a giant lived in the Townland of Tuireen, he was holding a big feast on a certain day at Hosfords in Glinny, (which is now Bradfields). There was a small man lived in Glinny, and he was about four feet, six inches, he was named "Thrush". he was invited to the feast.
    2.
    When the giant saw the "Thrush" coming he watched him until he sat down at table, then the giant sat along-side of him. Then the giant said "you must eat as much stirabout as I will to to day, if you wont I will kill you. At last the small man thought of a plan, the plan was that he would get a 4 St flour bag, he put it on his neck and every time the giant would look around, he would stuff some of the feeding into the bag and at last the giant said I must give up eating Iam to
