There was once a giant lived in the Townland of Tuireen, he was holding a big feast on a certain day at Hosfords in Glinny, (which is now Bradfields). There was a small man lived in Glinny, and he was about four feet, six inches, he was named "Thrush". he was invited to the feast.

When the giant saw the "Thrush" coming he watched him until he sat down at table, then the giant sat along-side of him.
