the Cullen Fort, there was a Priest lived there and you could see the old ruins still there. Where those forts were the old people would not like to touch them when they were ploughing, for they say if they ploughed a fort the horse would die.

There is a Holy-Well in Cullen and it is called Tobhar na Súl, that means a Cure for sore eyes. Long ago there was a monastery there and the Monks used to use the water in that well. When the old people had sore eyes they used to go to that well to get cured. There was a small hawthorn tree growing by this well and when the old people used to pay
