   1. There is an old Fort on the top of Coolkirkey in Mr Good's land. The old people say that if you ploughed a Fort your horses would die. They say that if you pass a Fort after midnight you would see a light. One time a woman dug a Fort, in search of gold, she had it for a few months, but, one night she heard strange little noises and in the morning the money was gone.

   2. Another time a priest entered a Fort with a lighting candle and every time he went in the candle would quench. He used to bring out little pieces of slate with very small print on them. He would be able to read them.

   3. One time a man was building a house on a Fort, and it fell five times when building it. The old people say that if you pull a piece of grass out of a Fort your hand would wither. It is very unlucky to have anything to do with Forts.
