The giant caught him. So he said they would have a throw with the crowbar. The giant took the final shot but when he raised the bar Domhnal struck him with his "bacail" and killed him. Next day two giants were talking inside the garden. They were thinking they could seize Domhnal. He was up on an apple tree and he struck one of them with a small apple. Going forth they slew each other.
