- Once upon a time in a place called Leap There were two old men named Patrick O'Driscoll and William Collins. They were coming home from town late in the night. It was said that Patrick O'Driscoll lived with the fairies and he knew all about them. As they parted he told the other man to hurry home for it was as much as he could do if he were in home or near it before a funeral came along and overtook him on the road. True for it Patrick because he was only just inside his door when it passed by. It was a great big one with many people walking and some on saddle horses with women riding behind them. He went in home then and never saw them again.
