Ar an leathanach seo

  1. According to the old legend it is never right to dig or plough the ground over a fort. There is a fort in Patrick Hourihan's land and it is supposed that a man ploughed it all out one day long ago and when he had it finished he was struck blind and had to be carried home.
    Next day a small little woman with a red cap came up to the house and said to the woman of the house that if the blind man went to the fort and turned every sod upside down again his eyesight would be restored.
    Next day he was taken to the fort and as soon as he had every sod turned he was able to see.
