  1. There are four or five tailors in this district now, but they are living in the town. They work at their homes presently but long ago they used to travel from house to house when required. The tailors don't stock cloth. Cloth is not spun and woven in the district now. The local people wore clothes made of such cloth. Woollen cloth is mostly used.
There are no sayings and traditions connected with tailors or tailoring. The gear or implements the tailor uses in his work are a scissors, a thimble, a sowing-machine, needles and other things. Some people make shirts in the homes for their own use. Linnen cloth is mostly used. There are no accounts of shirts of cloth made from flax grown locally.
Socks and stockings are knitted in the homes. There are no spinning wheels in the district now. Some people wear different clothes when a relative dies or anybody belonging to them.
