    dark deep hole in the Glasagorrrive river called "Poll na lacann", where ducks used to swim in olden times.
    About a mile farther south is another hole, "Poll na Carraige" so called from a rock that is close to it.
    "Leadamhuillin", the townland in which I live, got its name from the mill, which was there long ago in the lands now owned by Patrick Duggan. It was used by the local people for grinding corn.
