Long ago the people of Bearra used to go to Cork with their butter.
One man from Adrigole used go there every forthnight. There was a certain house in Cork selling bread and milk. The man used go into this house and get some bread and milk and eat them.
One (daay) day he went in as usual, but instead of bread and milk he got bread and tea. It was the first time tea came to Ireland and the man did not know what it was. The woman of the house put the milk and sugar in the tea for him.
"What is this", asked the man.
"Oh that is (Cngo) Congo tea" she answered The man drank it and liked it. He called for some more. He did not get the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
