  1. It is supposed that long ago two Giants had a fight in Gortfhathaig and the fight lasted for four hours. One of them was stronger than the other. The weaker one jumped from his opponent to Rahish and the print of his foot is to be seen on a rock there always. The strong one followed him, then the weaker one jumped from that to Carrigíll and the other one caught him there and threw his head off and it came down on Árd' a Chloiginn and his body came into Tráigh 'n Bháid and it was buried in Jim Harrington's field and three golláin stood to mark the grave, two to his feet and one to his head.
