The charlock is the most harmful weed growing in our farm. This is a list of the weeds that grow in our land:-
Chicken-weed, docket-leaf, dandalion, seapban, bishop-weed, charlock or it is also called bpayre, garlic, groundsel, nettle, thistle, gladum, fuaran, fearaban, crow's foot, St. John's wort, and robin-runn-the-hedge.
They are harmful because they spread rapidly and because they make the soil poor. White clover and red clover are in good land. Bpayre and nettles are in bad land.
Certain herbs had medicinal properties. Nettles are good for rheumatism. They are first boiled and then the person that has rheumatism drinks the juice of them. The dandelion is good for a wart. The milky stuff that is in the dandalion is rubbed on the wart.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
