- We have a churn. It is an end-over-end one. It is the shape of a barrel. At the top and bottom it is about one foot wide. It is about fifteen years old. The only parts in it are the lid, the stand, the handle and the barrel.
We churn in winter every five days and in summer three times a week. We all help in churning. If strangers come in when at the work they always help or put their hand on the handle. If they didn't the people of the house would force them because they say they would bring the butter with the, It takes about twenty - four minutes to churn it. The churning is done by hand.
