  1. Once upon a time an old man and an old woman were living together. It was Xmas time and they agreed to make a pudding. The woman got all the nickest things in the house and put them into a dough and put it into a cloth and put the cloth into a pot over the fire. It was not long before an old witch came in and said "Run out, the sky is falling." They both ran out and they saw nothing unusual about it: While they were outside the old witch put a fairy spell into the pudding. The man and the woman came in
