Ar an leathanach seo

  1. At the time the Penal Laws were in Ireland an old man, who was very sick, sent for the priest.
    At this time priests were very scarce and hard to be found, so the old man had to wait a long time before one could be got.
    When the messenger found the priest, he told him where to find the house in which the man lived. Darkness had fallen when the priest set out. As he was passing a certain spot he heard a beautiful voice singing.
    He stopped to listen and, when the song was over he looked around and saw a very old-looking man, with his cap in his hands, passing along the other side of the road
    The priest turned to speak but, as he did so, the man disappeared. He continued his journey and when he came to the house where the patient was, he found that the man had died a few minutes before he arrived.
    He told the people of the house
