    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    The people got their cures from herbs which they picked on the fields and mountains. For example the wild sage was said to cure cough, ink to cure burns. Hore hound was used to cure inward hurts. Sheep milk was used to cure measles. With penny leaves which were commonly called foxe's cabbage, the people made plasters to cure sores. The wild crowfoot was used to cure toothaches. If a needle broke and a piece of it remained in your hand put a foxe's tongue up to it and it will draw it out. A gall of a sparrow was to cure a sore eye. Lady's Well a mile or two outside the town was a place where rheumatics were cured.
