    Doll-making
    Doll-making is a very nice pastime for girls. This is the way I make them.
    First I get a piece of cloth and cut out a dress the shape of the doll, then I sew it together. When I have it sewed I get old pieces of cloth and hay and stuff the cloth with it.
    Then I make the head with another piece of cloth, then I get two beads and sew them in for eyes. Then I get a pencil and put a mark for the mouth. Then she is made.
    This is the way I make a necklace. First of all I gather a number of daisies and primroses. Then I bore a hole in each stem. I get other daisies and put the stem of them into the holes. When I have the necklace made I tie the two ends of the flowers together. That is the way I make a necklace.
