Local Cures.
A certain holy well in this district, which by visiting it before sunrise a cure for an upset stomach is available by just drinking some of the water. A very prominent cure for chin-cough is to put the affected person out between a donkey's legs three times in honour of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. A seventh daughter or son has the cure of "ring worm." After the baby is born some person takes a worm and lets it die in the child's hand, and after that when a worm is left in the palm of that child he immediately dies.
If a person milks your cow on May morning then your cow loses her milk for that year, and the person's cow increases her milk for that year.
