   There are not as many travelling-folk in this district now as there used to be, but still sometimes bands of them stay in the district. They stay a few days or sometimes a week.
   Tthe tinkers that come oftenest are, the McDonaghs, the McGinleys and the Hanifys. They make cans and saucepans from tin and they also mend lamps and umbrellas. Gipsies, Chimney-sweeps, Pedlars and jews also come to the district.
   Tthe gipsies sell paper flowers and tell fortunes. People do not like to see gipsies in the district because they steal. Chimney-seeps clean the chimney if you want it cleaned.
   Pedlars and jew sell ties and scarfs hankerchiefs and dresses. Jews have a dark complexion and it is sometimes hard to understand them because they have a different
