If your god-father and god-mother were having a meal and when they had finished you took a piece of some thing they were eating, you were supposed to have a cure for the chin-cough.

    If a thorn gets into the flesh and it cannot be removed some people are able to cure it, they get a certain herb and put it in on the injured part and the thorn is drawn out.

    A tooth-ache will be cured by rolling a frog up in a hand
