  1. The Care of the Feet
    People were fully grown in olden times before they wore boots or shoes.
    Their feet had a beautiful natural shape. They had neither bunions or corns from wearing tight or badly fitting boots.
    In Summer time the children to to school bare-footed.
    The water used for washing the feet is always thrown out and is never used for any other purpose.
    Children wear boots and shoes at an early age now, almost when they are able to walk.
    Boots are repaired locally but they are not made locally now.
    Long ago there was a shoemaker in every two or three townlands. The shoes they made were very strong and lasted a long time. The cobblers - that is The name of the man who repairs The shoes are not as numerous now as long ago because people buy imported shoes and these do not last very long and there is a handy man in nearly every
