    There are many customs handed down to us by our ancestors. In this locality it is customary for boys to throw cabbage at every door on Hallow-Eve night. It is a custom not to put out ashes on November day.
    People believe it is unlucky to do so. It is also said that it is unlucky to spend money on Hansel Monday. To give away milk on May day is supposed to bring misfortune. On Shrove
