  1. i. The young couple must be brought into the house together after coming from the church. This ensures that their lives shall be long and one shall not be dead long before the other.
    ii. whoever is in the house when future bride starts on way to church must remain until she comes back. It is considered very unlucky to leave.
    iii. It is lucky to fling an old shoe after bride on way to church.
    iv. The bride must wear something old and something new and some thing blue.
    v. It is unlucky to meet a red-haired woman on way to church.
    vi. Some male member of the family generally leaves and makes sure to be the first who meets the car on way to church.
