    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    The most common potatoe which grows in this district is the Kers-pink. Most of the people sow the potatoes in drills. Some of them are sown in ridges. The man of the house prepares the land. First the plough the land and then the harrow it. The plough is mostly used in this district for making drills. The spade is used for making ridges. When the potatoes are planted the man of the house covers the drills. In Autumn the potatoes are ploughed out and put in pits for the Winter.
