  1. Once three men, an Englishman, a Scotchman, and an Irishman wer brought up for robbery.
    When the judge asked the Englishman where would he like to be hung, he said he would like to be hung out of an appletree.
    He asked the Scotchman where he would like to be hung, and he said on the high hills of Scotland, in an oak tree.
    And he asked the Irishman where he would like to be hung, and he said out of a gooseberry bush, the Judge said there was no gooseberry bush big enough, and the Irishman said, "Well, with pleasure I will wait till it grows."
