- The local wild birds in my district are, wood-quests, blackbirds, sparrows, wrens, crows, jackdaws, stairs, thrushes, robins, magpies and swallows.
The wood-quest builds her nest in a tall bush. She builds her nest with bits of sticks which she finds in the woods. She makes a flat nest with no sides on it. The wood quest lays only two eggs. The eggs are pure white they are about half the size of a hen egg.
The wood-quest sits three weeks on her eggs before the young birds are hatched out.
