  1. Across two fields in a North Easterly direction form the village across the road is Saint Kevin's well. Campion's garden was the name of the little field where it is a family of that name once lived there. But a cottage garden now holds the well. A large round stone with the mark of a tub and two holes. Some say it was the mark of his knees while in prayer, others that it is from tear drops. The old legend is that his boots were stolen while left here in solitude and he wept and left his curse as we call it, on the name of the place; never to be
