THE LOUGH ROAD is so called because Lough Kathleen is beside it. It leads from Drummond Cross to Killeigh.
THE THREE ROADS is so called because three join together, It is called a crossroads.
THE SCHOOL ROAD is so called because the old school is situated on it. It leads from the Red House to Clarahill.
THE GROVE ROAD is so called because years ago there was a grove on each side of it. It leads to Rosenallis.
THE TOCAR ROAD is so called because it is a little narrow road.It leads from the three roads to Ballyclare Bridge. During the famine years the school road was levelled.The payment was a pound of yellow meal and a couple(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
