On St.Brigid's day a small cross is made of oak. It is tied with rushes. It is hung in the porch or else stuck in the thatch. Rushes are burned on that day and the ashes are kept. If the waters in a river or a well is hot on that day, there will be a fine spring.
ST.PATRICK'S DAY.
We pick shamrock and send it to our friends abroad. We wear it on that day we also wear a green badge. The band parades up and down the village.
SHROVE.
