  1. Unsettled Weather
The weather at present is very imseason able. This month is the last month of Winter which was the worst one we had since the year 1916.
Owing to the sereve first snow and hail it left farmers in a very backward condition, with their beet-pulling and the sowing of their winter wheat. The most terrific storm that was in Ireland was in Fevruary 26th 1903.
It was the heaviest in Ireland for the past hundred years,
It lasted for fifteen hours until the rain camr pouring down.
It uprooted thousands and thousands of trees, blew down a great number of houses and did thousands of pounds worth of damage in towns and cities. It was a very strong and low wind it and blew from the West.
There were many tress blown down that it reduced the price of timber by fifty percent, hater on earpenters and Slaters could not be got for any money.
