156 Taken from :- Mary Callan, Cloneygath, Co Kildare Long ago there was a big farm situated near Kildangan wherein lived three brothers called Richard, Harry, and Miley. The farm was divided among each man receiving an equal share. The part each got is called newby its former owner's name. - named Richardson, Harristown and Milerstown. The "Bawn" is called so because it is a grazing district and under the grass tree is nothing but white sand.
