    The weather is often judged by birds. When the Robin cries it is a sign of rain, and also when the Swallows fly low rain is coming. Crows making a lot of noise and flocking together is a sign of wind. When Blackbirds and Thrushes get tame it is a sign of hardship.
    Wagtails about the door show signs of wet days.
