  1. Saint Patrick's Well

    1) Saint Patrick's Well is situated near Barrettstown Churchyard on the road between Newbridge and Naas. It has a cement covering over it, and a statue of Saint Patrick.
    2) It is said that Saint Patrick was thirsty, and he stuck down his staff and water sprang up. There used to be a monastery there belong to the Dominicans.
    3) The water will cure a headache or a sore limb. If you take three sups of water on the name of the father, Son and Holy Ghost the complaint will be cured.
    4) There is going to be a life-sized statue erected soon.
