  2. Giant's Grave is name given to dolmans in this area. They are very common in parishes of Killevan & Aghabog. In some townlands (ie. 'Carn' etc) there are as many as three or four to be found almost together.
    Lone-bush:- A "Gentle tree" as it is called, (usual is a whitethorn growing alone in midde of field). People have a horror of cutting (or even ploughing too near) such trees. They are regarded as places where the fairy makes his home & must be respected else one may expect bad-luck.
