  1. In old times here, people only eat 3 times a day - Morn - mid-day - and night.
Workers on the land came at 7 ock in Winter and 6 ock in Summer.
The breakfast was after about one hour's work about 8 ock and consisted of either potatoes fish and salt or potatoes and butter milk and salt - some farmers - good houses gave the workers new milk instead of the sour milk. Work went on till 12 ock.
Dinner at 12 or 1 ock. Potatoes again and salt and milk or fish, if fish was cheap.
Supper consisted of the same fare but no fish was given
These were the hard times for the working man and no one can understand whey such times are called the good old times unless for the gentry who owned the humans body and soul.
The great parks of the rich were walled round by men working at four pence per day.
