Once upon a time a poor woman was on her way to market. It was very early but she thought it was late because they had no clocks at that time. This woman had to pass a big lime kiln and as she was passing it some one caught her by the shoulder and pulled her in. The woman got a fright but a kind voice said "Don't be frightened. I am only for your good; did you see wht is after passing now." The woman said "yes" It was two black hounds passed by lightning and if the man did not pull her in she would be dashed to pieces The man told her never to go so early in the morning - to wait until the cock would crow.- Bailitheoir
