  1. When Conán Maol was a little boy he was taken away to Tir-Na-N-Óg, but he often came back on a horse to see his mother & his home but he was never to get off his horse. One day he came home & a terrible sight met his eyes.
    A lot of wicked men were beating his mother, & he got down to save her. As soon as he did he became old & feeble, & the horse flew back to Tir Na Nóg, and he died soon afterwards.
