    There is said "that there is a cure for a hiccough & this is what it is" to give a person a terrible fright & the hiccough would stop or else to drink three sips of water.
    The people say that if you wanted the chilblains to go off your feet you could mix bread soda & parrafin & rub it on the chilblains it would cure it.
