Ar an leathanach seo
- In olden days three meals were served daily, breakfast, dinner and supper. Breakfast was partaken of at seven o'clock and consisted of oatmeal porridge and milk, dinner which was served at noon consisted of potatoes and salt, oatmeal cake and milk were taken at supper. Before partaking of any food the people got up and worked. Potatoes were not eaten at every meal. Milk was always drunk. The family sat round the table in the centre of the floor when dining.
The bread which was eaten was called oaten bread. It was baked on a griddle. Meat was not eaten but fish(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
