There are ruins of an old Chapel situated in Grove Churchyard.
It must be one of the oldest of it's kind as the mason work is of roughest kind.
In most of these old ruins there are cut stone round the doors and windows but in this there is no trace of cut stone of any kind.
Inside in the Chapel there is a tomb and writers of history discribe this as the tomb of St. Ledger. In the neighbourhood of the Chapel the Castle of St. Ledger is supposed to have been and most of the adjoining lands were the property of the St. Ledger family in the past. A small field in the vicinity still bears the name of Gurtín na Roilige the little field of the Churchyard.
