  1. The night Johnny Hickey was dead my father (R.I.P) and Richard Phelan went to the wake. They remained there for a few hours. After a while they proceeded home. My father was walking in the path and Mr. Phelan said

    "if we get by the cross we are safe. On this the horse jumped out again with a lady rider. She was of a tall white figure with fire out of her head. They knelt down and prayed.
