- This poem was composed by Ned Anderson on the death of Father Neary.I
All Ireland is in mourning now since on that cruel day.
The soul of Father Neary into Heaven passed away.
Klmacow is in grief now.
Ballyhale and Mullinavat is sunk in grief and anquish,
For the loss of Father Pat.II
His countenence was heavenly when lying upon his bed.
No one would imagine Father Neary he was dead.
His hands were crossed upon his breast as if in holy prayer.
Interceding to Almightly God for everyone was there.III
He was both a Priest and Patriot,
This great and grand Divine.
A rock of sense and eloquence,
A great and gifted mind.IV(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
