- "Sean Bhaile",Oldtown. It is called this because it is a very old place"Áth-Stúin"Stoneyford. Long ago there was a ford at the bottom of the street where the bridge is now and there was a piece of land beside known as "Stanga" and from that came "Áth an Stanga" and from that came "Áth-Stúin".

"The Deer Park"Deer were kept in this field.
"The Hill Field"Pairc an Chnuic" There is a hill in the middle of the field.
"The Hollow field".A field with a hollow in it.
"The Crossroad field"This field is near the Crossroads
"The Inch" This field is beside the river.
