- Jewels are said to be hidden, in Cats-Rock, between Waterford an Sliabh-Ruadh, in the parish of Sliabh-Ruadh It is guarded by a sword. The sword moves around about and points towards the person who tries to get the treasure It is said that Freaney the Robber hid it there while he was working in Ross.
